Frog is an ex-navy lifeboat that was refitted in the 1980’s as a recreational cruiser. A shipwright fitted the heavy-molded fiberglass hull with a glass over plywood cabin and deck.

The main cabin has large sliding marine windows. There is a sink and foot pump with a 20-gallon freshwater tank. There are two hydraulic helms, one in the main cabin and one in the cockpit; engine controls at both. A captain’s chair is at the inside steering station and two fold-down seats plus additional counter space provide seating inside. There is a full-sized chart table starboard of the inside steering station.

The forward cabin has a large (queen size) v-berth with 4” upholstered foam cushions. A marine head is installed in an alcove in the forward cabin.

Frog is powered by a four-cylinder 56 HP Perkins diesel engine with less than 400 hours. The engine compartment was lined with state-of the art acoustic insulation in 2005. There are two 100-liter fuel tanks.

There is outside seating space in the cockpit.
