After School Soccer with Dave Ages starts again on Thursday, January 26th and runs every Thursday after school from 330 - 430pm in the school gym. All school ages childern are welcome to participate. Free Kids Lantern Workshop with Patti Moreland

This Saturday, December 17th at 10am till noon at the Activity Centre at the School.

Come and learn how to make a simple lantern to carry in the Solstice Candlelight Parade.

Each child needs to bring a clean jar. (We have some extra in case you don't have one.) All other materials will be provided.
Kids under 6 will need a parent helper.

The Candlelight parade is a part of the Annual Solstice Dinner, which is happening on December 22nd. The parade starts at 5:30 at GIRR and will be led by Diona along the trail to the South Hall.

Spooky Crafts @ The AC

Haunted Houses and other Spooky Crafts with Michele Cantelon on October 29th at the Activity Centre in the meeting room. This program will use recycled materials and craft supplies to make your own haunted houses for Halloween. If there is time left they work on some additional spooky crafts. The cost is $10 per child with a request to parents to bring cardboard recyclables including boxes, toilet rolls and egg cartons. There will be two classes. One will be for ages 6-7 year olds and will run from 11am – 1230pm and the other will be for 8-9 year olds and will run from 1pm – 230pm.

Hatha Yoga @ The AC

Gina Fulop-Thomas will be offering Ginalina Hatha Yoga classes at the Activity Centre every second Tuesday throughout October to December from 3:40 – 4:50 in the gym. The cost will be $10 per classes or $50 for all 6 classes. Classes will be held on October 11th and 25th, November 8th and 22nd and December 6th and 13th. Classes will foster the body's self healing capability through gentle range of motion, spinal flexibility, core strength and breathing exercises. Guided relaxation completes the sessions.
