Elephant Spirit Adventure -- A bold vision to preserve elephants in Thailand

Shera and Chidakash present an evening about a remarkable project to preserve Elephants in Thailand. There will be Videos, Pictures and Stories featuring THE LAST MAHOUT, a documentary by acclaimed documentary fiilm-maker David Adams. This is a fund-raiser in which all proceeds will go toward elephant preservation. Suggested donation: $5-$10.

THE FOOD PROGRAM WILL HOST THE FIRST FRIDAY NIGHT FOOD FILM FESTIVAL FUNDRAISER TO FINANCE FURTHER FOOD-RELATED FUN-FILLED (F)EVENTS AND THE ACQUISITION OF A VIDEO CAMERA TO RECORD OUR WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS!!! THIS WILL BE HELD ON FEBRUARY 26TH, FROM 5PM UNTIL 11PM AT THE GALIANO COMMUNITY HALL. ORGANIC, NON-GMO POPCORN, CORN CHIPS WITH RATATOUILLE DIP, ALISON'S CHOCOLATE CAKES AND HAND-CRAFTED TRUFFLES AND BEVERAGES WILL BE ON OFFER. THE PROGRAM WILL FEATURE:

O'otsiin is a Gitxsan word meaning "Your Spirit". Finding O'otsiin Indigenous Creations is a gathering of local artists offering their creations to you. Art has many shapes and forms, so too will the art at this show. Works ranging from wood carvings to digital media to music will be offered.
