Insight Art Gallery, Tish Saunders

Insight Art Gallery shows fine artwork by local artists in a beautiful west coast gallery setting. Our gallery building features high ceilings, post and beam work, and a bank of north-facing skylights. The gardens are filled with flowering bushes, perennials, and many different specialty trees and orchard. We present new shows every month, and our opening receptions always occur on the first Saturday of every month.
We have shows that feature one, two or a few artists. These shows give these artists an opportunity to show a good body of new work. We like to show a great variety of art and mediums and we showcase our local artists and the incredible amount of good work they create. We also show work by visiting artists from the South Island region
Some of our shows are group shows, for example, most years we feature a "Bohemian Embassy Group Show" which runs from November to the end of December, and often includes 25 - 30 local artists. We often have a Galiano Fibre Arts Show, usually every two years. It features every kind of work in fibre like cross-stitch, quilting, embroidery, weaving, felting, dyed silk, fashions and more.
