A four week introductory course on appreciating abstract art through making it. We will draw in black and white in order to build an understanding of the rose that the traditional skills (lin, shadin, composition, contrast, and fore and back ground) play in abstraction. We will discuss the difference between non-representional worka dn works abstracted from reality.

6:30 - 8:20pm
$60 + small fee (approx. $5) for drawing materials.
Mostly we will draw and then discuss our drawings in terms of emotional impact.
