GLCHT Extraordinary General Meeting

Dear Member of the Galiano Land & Community Housing Trust,

During the last few months the GLCHT has made huge steps forward on a specific project aimed at providing attainable community housing on Galiano Island - the Land Lease Project. We have identified a location, drafted a working plan based on consultations with the community and have submitted a re-zoning application. The Local Trust Committee (LTC) recently agreed to move forward in the process of passing the bylaw amendments that will enable construction to begin in 2012. We invite you to attend an Extraordinary General Meeting at the South Galiano Community Hall on Sunday, December 4th from 3-5pm in which we seek your official approval to go ahead with this project.

Please plan to attend this important meeting and pass the word on to people who may interested in joining GLCHT. Memberships can be re-newed and applied for at the meeting.

We are also planning a site visit before the meeting - please RSVP if you would like to join in.
