A Sabot Sold and Kept on the Island. Know of any others?

For a while, I've had visions to reviving some form of sailing regatta here on Galiano, and I think it's starting to come together for the dinghies. (We can talk about the big boats soon, I hope.)

Marty just sold me his little Sabot, and I can think of 4 or 5 others that are kicking around Galiano in one form or another.

So why am I e-mailing? Well... this one just popped up on Craigslist in North Van. It's the same style of boat that I've just bought, for the same price of $500. If anyone on this list wanted to nab this one or something similar, then that would be 6 or 7 total on Galiano, in prep for this summers season.

On the more personal front, my little outboard has been put in for its annual, and I'm contemplating a haul out. 'Tis the season!

Recent Rumours? Captain Mike has an inflatable dinghy for sale with a well running Johnson outboard. Also Marty has mentioned that he's selling his 3 20ish footers. There's a Cal 20, a 23 footer and a smaller day sailer. Stay tuned for photos and asking prices.
