Bravo!!!! Thank you for having unbiased reviews. When I check reviews anything. I normally look for the negative reviews because that's when most people are telling the truth. I instantly subscribed after watching your review for the switchmate. I'm looking for something like that but more functionality and NO extra work like TP link. I'm moving into an apartment and I can't do anything to the walls. Please recommend me something that has easy instillation like the switchmate with no wires needing to be cut. I myself had been looking for a nas, but watching some videos I realized that the good stuff isn't affordable (enough) for me and might be overdoing it.
But lately I am looking for an easy way to backing up my desktop – either portable or nonportable.
I'm not interested in backing up my cd/dvd-images collection (making cd-images only takes 5').
Till now I used cloud storage and that works just fine with me.
I been thinking of acquiring a usb stick Kingston HyperX Savage 512GB. That should do perfectly.
What I'm looking for has to have 1 option that I absolutely want,
and
that is that I want to encrypt it with bitlocker.
Why? Because my pc – that constitutes of SSD + HDD – is fully encrypted with bitlocker. Therefore, everything I use on my pc is encrypted with bitlocker.
Not using bitlocker on a backup medium would mean my pc is less secure – eventhough my pc is fully encrypted.
Got any ideas?

LON, Im a pilot racing in the BAJA 1000, and Im looking for a way to get video out of our GOPRO cameras into a recording divide instead of to a 64gb micro sd, do you think this is possible using a BlackmagicDesign box from intensity? we already solved the energy issue by writing a permanent power supply, it just that the races run for over 30 hours straight, and we would like to add some kind of recording device that can store that much data… can you help?
