Today we go back to talking about SSDs and we do it with the review of a product that looks beautiful, fast but above all RESISTANT. It is the G-Technology G-DRIVE Mobile SSD. The episodes of the review As you may have guessed from the video thumbnail, this is episode 1 of our long review. Here we are going to analyze the specifications of the disc, after an unboxing. We will also see how it behaves in the initial speed test, with the disc “virgin” and not subject to torture of any kind. Torture? Already! The speeds we got are very respectable, being a SATA3 disk (and not NVME like the P50_Game Drive we reviewed a few weeks ago): you reach about 530 MB / s in reading and about 480 MB / s in writing, average.
