What are Autumn Plains orbs?
Autumn Plains: Where the Orbs Are Hiding
First off, let’s make sure you know what you’re dealing with. Autumn Plains is the third level in Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage. It’s a beautiful, fall-themed level with lots of fun things to explore. There are 100 orbs scattered throughout the level, and trust me, they can be a bit tricky to find.
But don’t worry, I’m here to guide you through the whole process. I’ll explain how to find each and every one of those orbs, so you can collect them all and get that satisfying feeling of completion.
Important: I’ll be going through the level in the order I usually play it, but you can definitely explore it in any order you like.
Here we go!
1. The Starting Area:
Let’s start by grabbing the first few orbs near the entrance. Just to the left of the starting point, you’ll find a couple of orbs hanging from a tree. Easy peasy! And, right near the entrance to the cave, you’ll find another two orbs. Keep an eye out for those!
2. The Cave of Wonders:
Now, head into the cave. Inside, you’ll find a few more orbs scattered around. Look for a “?” on the ground, that’s your sign! And while you’re in there, grab a few of those “Glimmering Gems” too.
3. The “?” Hidden in the Vines:
Just after the cave, you’ll find a “?” on the ground. This one can be a bit tricky. It’s tucked away in the vines, so you’ll need to use your charge ability to break through them. Don’t worry, it’s worth it, there’s a sweet orb waiting for you!
4. The Orb-Filled Meadow:
Keep moving forward. You’ll come to a lovely meadow full of flowers. This meadow is where things start to get a little tricky. Look for a platform in the middle of the meadow. You’ll find two orbs on this platform, and a third orb nestled near the flowers.
5. Taking a Leap of Faith:
After the meadow, you’ll need to jump over a gap. You’ll see another platform right before the gap. Grab the orb from this platform before jumping. You can also use this platform as a springboard to get to a “?” right after the gap. You’ll find a couple of orbs there, so make sure you get them!
6. The “?” and the Hidden Orb:
Next, you’ll come across a big, empty space. You’ll see a “?” on the ground, and a “?” in the distance. Grab the orb near the “?” on the ground, then head towards the “?” in the distance. Look closely, and you’ll find a hidden orb on the edge of the platform.
7. The Bridge of Orbs:
You’ll come across a bridge. And just like that, another orb awaits you! And guess what? There are more orbs on the other side of the bridge.
8. The “?” of Trouble:
After crossing the bridge, you’ll face another “?” on the ground. Make sure to grab the orb hidden there.
9. The Stairway to Orbs:
Now, you’ll see a stairway leading up to a platform with a “?”. Take the stairs, grab the orb near the “?”, and then take a closer look around the platform. You’ll find another orb hidden under a little ledge.
10. The “?” and the “?”:
As you continue, you’ll find another “?” on the ground. This one is right next to a ramp. Take the ramp up and then look back towards the platform to find another “?”. Remember, “?” means orb!
11. Jumping to Victory:
Head to the end of the path and you’ll see a “?” on the ground, a “?” on a platform, and a “?” on a ledge. Grab the first “?” then jump to the platform to get the second “?”. And lastly, use your charge to break through a little wall and collect the final orb.
12. The Gateway to the Boss:
Now, you’ll come across a door. It’s time to take on the boss of Autumn Plains. But, there are still more orbs to find! Don’t forget to grab the orb right next to the door.
13. The Forgotten Orb:
Before you face the boss, head back through the level. You should find one last orb hidden near the starting area.
14. Fighting the Boss:
Now, you’re ready to take on the boss, Gnasty Gnorc. Make sure you have enough health and glimmering gems before you start. The fight is tough, but you can do it. And once you’ve defeated Gnasty Gnorc, you’ll finally be able to collect all those orbs!
15. The Final Orbs:
After you win the battle, you’ll have access to a whole new area of the level. There are a few more orbs to collect here. One is right by the area entrance. Another is on a platform just behind the “?”. And the final orb is on the platform at the top. Collect all those orbs and you’ll finally be done!
16. The “?” Behind the Waterfall:
There’s one more orb waiting for you. You’ll have to go back to the starting area, where you first encountered the “?” in the vines. Remember? Now, find your way behind the waterfall. You’ll find the final orb in a secret area back here.
And there you have it! You’ve found all 100 orbs in Autumn Plains. You’re now a master of Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! Congratulations!
