  1. One of the biggest myths of the depression was Hoover did nothing. In fact FDR’s treasury secretary said that most of the new deal was started during Hoover’s administration

  2. Hold on here, the deflationary cycle could have happened because of all the consumption during the 1920s up to 1929. The fed already pumped lots of money in the economy by setting low interest rates. This made for an increase of the money supply across the country by more than 50% if I read it right.
This can explain the deflationary period and asset bubble in the stock market. More loans default due to overleverage because of the liberal loans. I miss good old Austrian economics in here 🙂

By the way 2020 exam history student 🙂

  3. Moral of the story: Never ever let a private for profit central bank (federal reserve) control an entire countries money supply,, especially without government checks and balances! Sadly we still haven't figured that out and so the carnage continues all for their profit.
Jackson defended America. Wilson destroyed it.

  4. If you believe today is the same as the roaring 20's you are right, however banking is controlled every day, the founders of the democrat party made sure a federal banking system would not work, now we know, the greatest time in economics is behind us, however, we have the best chance for even better. All of the Government Workers got paid, everyone got a bonus, the government debt went up, but all nations had the same thing happen, and the one thing economics teaches is, everything is always relative, that's the constant in economics, when you learn that, the rest is elementary my dear Watson. What government does matters, what the people do matters more, what the media and press say effects 15% of the 350 million Proud Americans living in the greatest Republic ever, look around, if you don't see smoke, life is good, it you do call the fire department, they will come. We are going to have a great roaring 2020's but that's only the beginning, if you look ahead, reason will always prevail, the one thing IT does is make all of use a little smarter, used for good, it is good, used for bad, it has no effect on reason. Andrew Jackson was a slave owner, we need to take his likeness down, but he was a good democrat so it's not that BLM, it's BLM to the DNC, 350 million Proud Americans include 40 black folks, 10 million black folks couldn't be with us, their Black mothers couldn't be bothered. When you take the thumb off the scale, the media and press really hate too much, think too much, and talk too much. 350 million Proud Americans will always do the right thing given a chance, it's not luck the President Trump is our President, he will be re-hired, along with folks that understand the rule of law, and faith. You go John.

  5. Middle School Me: I love history
High School Me: watches all videos on this channel so that I'm less likely to fail history.
Me with my friends: did you know that the industrial revolution is the whole reason for… and… because… …2 hours later… and that's how all these different world groups tried to force religion onto all these groups of people. my favorite example of this is Queen Mary Tudor A.K.A. Bloody Mary….

  6. Covid-19 is pretty much the Great Depression for a lot of people at least for me I’m sad everyday and this started when quarantine started I even question myself if I had depression because I have this feeling for a month now but I know myself this is because Covid and this needs to stop

  7. Every time I’m forced to watch one of your videos by my teacher, I end up watching all of them for fun, and then I’ve forgotten to do the work!
